So, I've been struggling with the normal weight issues. I've determined that my weight issues are not due to effort in the exercise area. It is my diet....or lack thereof; and willpower when there are sweets around. I've sent out an e-mail to 3 RD's in my area to meet with them and hopefully, I like one of them and start working with one. An RD is a Registered Dietitian. I am looking to make lifestyle changes.

This revelation brought to you by a co-worker's buddy's girlfriend that got some great results with weight management. :)

Maybe I can get some insight to my slight "binge" habits.

Hello there!
Oh my gosh! Since forever I've been unhappy with my appearance
and the way it made me feel inside.
I'm 5'8, 164 lbs., and I'm always trying to diet to get slimmer.
I've finally found a community where I feel I can talk
about it. Does anyone have some advice for an emotional
overeater? That's what I am and it's really hard to control

Hey everyone! Now that I'm home I have a scale available to me 24/7, and so, about an hour after Thanksgiving dinner, I went into the bathroom to brush my teeth, saw the scale and decided to be curious. With a full dinner, jeans and a tank top on, I weighed in at....

219 lbs.!! Which means that since the beginning of Fall term (August) to today I have lost 11 lbs. and without even being on a diet! Unless the little starter program I've been doing has knocked it off that fast. I haven't lost inches from the last measurement, but I have from the ones from summer, so it's not just water weight.

I'm so freakin happy. I'm glad to be home and have the oppertunity to help my mother and get my life on track. I'll be working and exercising and I'll have the funds to really eat right and take the time to focus a little on me and not school work.'s my new tickers!

Hi my name’s Marianne, and I wanted to share with everyone my story so far...

I weighed 106kgs and had problems with my metabolism. I wasn’t sure anything could work for me. With a wonky metabolism I had to eat half as much and exercise twice as much! But I stumbled across an amazing all natural herbal based program.

Hi all! Losing the weight is getting easier, as long as I can stay away from pizza and oreo cookies, but I still need more support.

I think I posted the link to my site here before, but it wasn't quite ready for the public eye at that point. I encourage all of you to pay us a visit again and check everything out.

I've been working hard on getting this all up and running, so I would appreciate it if you all could take a moment, check it out, and let me know what you think.

Height & Frame Size = Ideal Weight [01 Apr 2005|11:49am]

Please note that this chart is for women.

How to define your frame.

If you are left-handed, extend your right arm. If you are right-handed, extend your left arm.

With your free hand, wrap your thumb and middle finger (yes, the one that some people use in heavy traffic) and wrap those around your extended wrist. Be sure to wrap it around the SMALLEST section of your wrist - very close to where the old hand sticks out.

Small Frame: If your middle finger and thumb overlap, you have a small frame.

Medium Frame: If your middle finger and thumb touch, you have a medium frame.

Large Frame: If your middle finger and thumb do not meet, you have a large frame.

Hello! :) I'm new here and because I'm from Finland, there will be several mistakes in my text, so I apologize now already :)

I'm 16 years old and I'm a girl, I have a twisted sense of humor so that's why the "mr."

My height is 158cm is that 5"1 or 5"2, am not sure.
My highest weight: 59kg=130.4lb
Lowest weight: 47kg=103.9lb? (last year)
Current weight: 55.5kg=122.7lb?
Goal weight: 47kg-50kg=104lb-110lb?
^Please correct me if I'm wrong

I know I'm normal-weight and I should be happy with myself, but recently it's been brought to my attention that I actually am quite plump, and I want to get rid of that.

I do Pilates and this stretching thing called Method Putkisto every now and then. Then I'm trying to start jogging at least three times a week.

Since I know a lot of people like to include DDR in their workout routine, I was wondering if anyone here tried the Yourself!Fitness "game" for Xbox? My mom told me about it and a couple weeks ago I actually saw it at the mall so I was thinking of giving it a shot. GameFaq gives it good reviews but I was hoping for some personal experiences before I shell out $30. That may not be a lot to some people but I work at Blockbuster! I have bills to pay! *heh*

Oh and hi! I used to be a little more active around here about this time last year but I sorta fell off the wagon. I'm back though! And hopefully I can superglue my butt to it this time! ^^

Hi, I'm new here, and I'm in dire need of advice. I'm 5'1, 140 lbs, and have been struggling with my weight since middle school. For the past few months I've been gaining weight at a steady pace and I'm getting so depressed that I can't take it anymore. When I look in the mirror, I am disgusted with myself and I wonder how my boyfriend can even bear to touch me. I would really like to lose 25 pounds, as quickly as I can. I was wondering if any of you can tell me about weight loss supplements and if they work. I'm looking into a gym membership and weight loss supplements, but I am wondering what would be the best one. I have heard some good things about Hydroxycut, Xenadrine, and TrimSpa. Can anyone tell me if these work? Any advice you could give would be very helpful, because tomorrow I am planning on maybe purchasing one of these products. I just want to make sure I make the right decision first. Thank you.

Hey, I'm new to this community ^_^ I'm 15 years old and I'm 5' 10" weighing 130 pounds. But, what bothers me is that my sister (who is 2 years older than me) is 5' 8" and weighs about 120. She is so... skinny. Not anorexic skinny though. Alot of people say how she's so pretty.... I think it's just because she can put on a dress or anything and look good because she's skinny. I just have like the pudgy thing, below the belly button.
